Cooper City Cobras TRAVEL Soccer, South Florida’s # 1 volunteer-based Travel Soccer Program, is planning on hosting our 2021-22 Travel Season TRYOUTS starting Monday, May 3rd, at our Flamingo West Park (FWP) Artificial Turf Complex located at 6201 South Flamingo Rd (next to Franklin Academy) and at our Bill Lips (BL) Grass Fields Sports Complex (next to Griffin Elementary).
If you are interested in checking us out, please register your child at our new registration platform (Sports Connect) Travel Soccer (bluesombrero.com) . Our Travel Soccer Program is a sub-header to Soccer. Our Welcome to Travel Soccer Page has a registration link for you to click and register your child.
Be sure to read the registration page content for additional instructions. For more information on Travel Soccer or if you are new to Travel Soccer, please check our FAQ Page.
Once you complete your child’s registration, you will receive a Sports Connect (formerly known as “Blue Sombrero”) system-generated email acknowledgement detailing instructions for you and your child to follow. Please print this email msg acknowledgement to bring with you to our tryouts.
Our TRYOUT Schedule is on another page. Be sure to double check the schedule before you leave home to make sure it has not changed.
By the way, your child’s Age Group Head Coach or Team Manager may contact you by text, email, or phone before or during tryouts for more information on your child’s soccer experience or simply to advise you that your child’s tryout schedule has been re-scheduled due to inclement weather.
It is recommended that you attend as many of the tryout sessions as possible to ensure the Coaching Staff has had a chance to fairly evaluate your child.
Once tryouts are held, and players are selected, a system-generated "Participant Made the Team Email" will be sent to the families of the chosen players. This email informs the parents that their child has been selected and will include the final steps they need to take to finalize their acceptance and position on the team. Parents will need to log into their account, accept their position on the team, and make a secure payment online for the cost of the program.
