About Cooper City Cobras Travel Soccer Club
Cooper City Cobras Soccer provides competitive soccer programs for the youth of Cooper City and surrounding areas. This soccer program operates as part of the Cooper City Optimist, (CCO), which is a “not for profit” organization and a distinguished member of Optimist International. Founded in 1982, our club has grown considerably through the efforts of hard-working volunteer parents who coach, assist with fundraising, and tackle the administrative and operational duties within the club. We want the players to play, the parents to cheer, and the club to grow while making the game of soccer a wonderful experience for everyone.
The Cobras Travel soccer program is an approved Florida Youth Soccer Association, FYSA, affiliate competing in Region A. Our boys and girls travel teams participate in league play with the South Florida United Youth Soccer Association, SFUYSA.
The cost to play travel soccer varies depending on the age group program but assuming playing in 2 leagues (Fall & Winter) and 5 tournaments, the total estimated membership cost is $1K with about half due in mid-June when the players will be expected to register to play travel. TRYOUTS occur in May and players will be expected to attend all sessions.
